B2562-POWER SLIDING DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW - CLUSTER





For a complete wiring diagram REFER to DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL


- When Monitored:
Whenever the Cluster/CCN is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the Cluster/CCN senses low voltage on the (G23) Sliding Doors Overhead Switch Mux circuit for longer than 10 seconds, this code will set.






Diagnostic Test


1. DTC PRESENT
With the scan tool, record DTC's.
Erase DTC's
Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
Operate the Power Sliding Doors several times from the Power Sliding Door Overhead switch.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes


- Go To 2


No


- Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.

2. CHECK THE POWER SLIDING DOOR OVERHEAD SWITCH FOR A SHORT TO GROUND




Disconnect the Switch-Bank-No. 2 (PREMIUM) - 8 way harness connector.
Erase DTC's
Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes


- Go To 3


No


- Replace the Overhead Switch Bank assembly.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.


3. CHECK THE (G23) SLIDING DOORS OVERHEAD SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C2 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the (G23) Sliding Doors Overhead Switch Mux circuit in the Instrument Cluster C2 harness connector.
Is the resistance below 10,000 ohms?

Yes


- Repair the (G23) Sliding Doors Overhead Switch Mux circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.


No


- Replace the Instrument Cluster.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.
