Installation

ADJUSTABLE





1. If required, install electronic throttle control (2) on pedals assembly. Install three mounting screws (1).




2. Install adjustable pedals assembly (2) under instrument panel and slide onto power brake booster and dash-mounted studs.




3. Install four power brake booster mounting nuts (2). Tighten nuts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).




4. Install nuts (1) on dash mounted studs. Tighten nuts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).




5. Slide booster push rod (2) onto brake pedal pin (3). Install NEW retaining clip (1) securing push rod to brake pedal.




6. Route wiring harness over pedals assembly and install routing straps (1).
7. Connect wiring connector (6) at adjustable pedals motor (7).
8. Connect wiring connector (2) at electronic throttle control (accelerator) (3).
9. Connect wiring connector (5) at brake pedal position sensor (4).




10. Install and adjust NEW stop lamp switch (2) in pedals assembly.Installation




11. Install the steering column cover reinforcement (2) using the four mounting screws (3, 4).




12. Install the steering column opening cover and instrument panel end cap.Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation
13. Test operation of adjustable pedals.
14. Road test vehicle testing operation of brakes and accelerator.
