INSTALLATION

NOTE: LHD model shown in illustrations. RHD model similar.





NOTE: Right side shown. Left side similar.

1. Engage the retaining tab that secures the top of each instrument panel center support bracket (3) to the instrument panel support (1) and position each bracket to the floor panel (4).
2. Install the four bolts (2) that secure each instrument panel center support bracket to the instrument panel support and the floor panel. Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
3. Reposition the carpet.




4. Position the instrument panel console (1) to the instrument panel and connect the wire harness connectors (3) to the back of the console.
5. Install the six plastic retainers (2) that secure the instrument panel console to the instrument panel.
6. On LHD models, install the front floor consoleFloor Console - Installation.
7. On RHD models, install the cover to the floor mounted gear selector.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
