910A-OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER CONNECTOR FAULT

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the module detects a unused terminal shorted.
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Restraints System Pre-Diagnostic Procedure.
Diagnostic Test
1. TEST FOR DTC
With the scan tool, read active DTC's.
WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury, turn the ignition off, disconnect the battery and wait two minutes before proceeding.
Inspect the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Check power and ground circuits. Reconnect any disconnected components and harness connectors and ensure all harness connectors are properly seated.
Were any of the above conditions present?
Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Perform *RESTRAINT VERIFICATION TEST. Restraints System Verification Test
No
WARNING: If the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) is dropped at any time, it must be replaced. Failure to take proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment and serious or fatal injury.
Replace the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC).
- Perform *RESTRAINT VERIFICATION TEST. Restraints System Verification Test
