NOTE: Repair paint damage on nuts (2) with suitable touch up paint.

NOTE: When replacing the hood (1) perform seam seal before paint work, then preserve the hood (1) with cavity wax.

NOTE: Transfer detachable body components.

1. Install the hood (1) onto the hinges and install the nuts (2).
2. Support hood with suitable support device.
3. Align the hinges with the marks made during removal and tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).




4. Install the hood prop (3) and install the bolt (1).
5. Tighten the bolt (1) to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.).
6. Check the hood positioning and adjust if necessary, Gap and Flush Specifications.
