Crankshaft - Installation

INSTALLATION





CAUTION: Apply a light coat of clean engine oil to the bearing surfaces before installation.

1. Select and install the main bearings.Service and Repair




2. Install the crankshaft.
3. Install the main bearing caps.








4. Install the pistons.Piston and Connecting Rod - Installation








5. Install the oil pump.Engine Oil Pump - Installation
6. Install the oil pump chain.




7. Install the windage tray.




8. Install the upper oil pan.Engine Oil Pan - Installation




9. Install the lower oil pan.Engine Oil Pan - Installation




10. Install the front engine cover.Timing Cover - Installation




11. Install the cylinder heads.Cylinder Head - Installation




12. Install the flexplate.Installation.




13. Install the engine.Engine - Installation
14. Fill the engine oil.
15. Fill the coolant.
16. Connect the battery.
