LEFT CYLINDER HEAD





1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Release the fuel rail pressure.
3. Drain the coolant.
4. Drain the oil.




5. Remove the accessory drive belt.
6. Remove the power steering reservoir.




7. Remove the thermostat.




8. Remove the oil filter housing.Removal




9. Remove the air pump (5).




10. Disconnect the PCM.
11. Remove the PCM.
12. Remove the bolts securing the engine wiring harness.
13. Position aside the engine wiring harness.




14. Remove the left cylinder head oil separator (7).




15. Disconnect the engine ground wire at the left cylinder head cover.
16. Disconnect the camshaft sensors in the left cylinder head.




17. Disconnect the three ignition coils in the left cylinder head (right side shown).
18. Remove the three ignition coils from the left cylinder head (right side shown).




19. Remove the upper front cover from the left cylinder head.




20. Remove the rubber grommets from the left cylinder head cover.
21. Remove the left cylinder head cover bolts.
22. Use a heat gun and the tabs on the outside of the cylinder head cover to remove the left cylinder head cover.
