REMOVAL





1. Remove the front cover.Timing Cover - Removal
2. Remove the crankshaft damper.Vibration Damper - Removal
3. Remove crankshaft seal using an appropriately sized socket.

CAUTION: Do not nick shaft seal surface or seal bore.

4. Shaft seal lip surface must be free of varnish, dirt or nicks. Polish with 400 grit paper if necessary.
