- When Monitored:
Whenever the module is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the passenger door latch circuit senses an excessive current draw for over 500 ms, this code will set





Diagnostic Test

1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's.
Close all doors.
Operate the door lock switch both directions a few times.
Wait 30 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display 906F-PASSENGER DOOR LOCK CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.

2. DOOR LATCH




Disconnect the Passenger Door Latch connector.
Using a 12-volt test light, connect one end to the Passenger Door Lock Driver circuit and the other end to the Passenger Door Unlock Driver circuit.
Operate the door lock switch in both directions a few times.
Does the test light illuminate brightly when the switch is operated in both directions?

Yes

- Replace the Passenger Door Latch.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 3

3. PASSENGER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C9 connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Passenger Door Unlock Driver circuit.
Is the resistance below 5000.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the Passenger Door Unlock Driver circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 4

4. PASSENGER DOOR LOCK DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND




Measure the resistance between ground and the Passenger Door Lock Driver circuit.
Is the resistance below 5000.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the Passenger Door Lock Driver circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 5

5. PASSENGER DOOR LOCK DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORTED TO THE PASSENGER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER CIRCUIT




Measure the resistance between the Passenger Door Lock Driver circuit and the Passenger Door Unlock Driver circuit.
Is the resistance below 5000.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the Passenger Door Lock Driver circuit for a short to the Passenger Door Unlock Driver circuit.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace the Body Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
