WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury on vehicles equipped with airbags, disable the supplemental restraint system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, airbag, seat belt tensioner, impact sensor, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the supplemental restraint system. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using hand pressure, press the left end of the front park assist display (1) lens toward the right side of the vehicle until it unsnaps from the latch features integral to the underside of the instrument panel center speaker grille (2).
3. Pull the right end of the display housing up out of the mounting hole, then slide the unit to the right far enough to pull the left end of the unit and the wire harness connector (3) out of the mounting hole.
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle on the left end of the display housing and remove the display from the instrument panel.
