Final Drive Control Module (FDCM)
TRANSFER CASE VERIFICATION TEST
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury
1. Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and harness connectors.
2. Make sure all accessories are turned off and the battery is fully charged.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Test drive the vehicle.
5. With the scan tool under Data Display, monitor the 2WD/4WD while performing 90° angle parking lot maneuvers in both forward and reverse.
6. With the scan tool, read DTCs in the FDCM.
Are there any DTCs present in the FDCM?
Yes
- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Testing and Inspection.
No
- The conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time.
