Seat - Removal

REMOVAL

Standard Vehicles (non-HEV)





1. Position the front seat to the full forward position.
2. Release and fold the seat forward.
3. Turn the hinge pin (3) clockwise and disengage from the retaining tabs (2).





4. With the pin (1) released from the retaining tabs, tap the pin out of the spring (2) and remove.





5. Twist the seat assembly up and out of the outboard hinge (1). Disengage from the inner hinge (2) and remove seat.

HEV Vehicles





WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury

1. Remove the right and left seats. Standard Vehicles (non-HEV)
2. Remove the front bolts (1).
3. Remove the rear bolts (3).
4. Remove the seat assembly (2).
