Power Sliding Door Module Right (PSDMR)

B210A-SYSTEM VOLTAGE LOW

For a complete wiring diagram Refer to the Wiring Information

- When Monitored:
At all times.

- Set Condition:
When the TIPM sends a message to the Power Sliding Door Module that the vehicle voltage is below 10.0 volts for over 15 seconds, this code will set.

1. CHECK ENGINE DTC's

NOTE: The most probable cause for this DTC in this module is that the charging system or battery has failed causing a low vehicle system voltage.

NOTE: Ensure the battery is fully charged and serviceable before proceeding.

1. With the scan tool, read ENGINE DTC's

Are there any ENGINE DTC's present?

No

- Go To 2

Yes

- Diagnose and repair the DTC(s)..

2. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's
2. Start the engine and run for two minutes.
3. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display B210A-SYSTEM VOLTAGE LOW?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

3. CHECK THE (A959) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT FOR HIGH RESISTANCE
1. Using the scan tool, read the Battery Voltage of the Power Sliding Door Module.
2. Using the scan tool, read the Battery Voltage of the TIPM (Central Gateway).

Is the voltage within 1.0 volt of each module?

Yes

- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 4

4. CHECK THE LEFT POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE HARNESS

NOTE: At this time it will be necessary to remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the Power Sliding Door Module connector
4. Remove the Power Sliding Door Module from the track.
5. Re-connect the C383 Left Body 4 way harness connector.
6. Turn the ignition on.
7. Using a 12-volt test light, connect one end to the (A959) Fused B(+) circuit and the other to the (Z908) Ground in the PSD Module 6-way connector.

NOTE: The test light must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Does the test tight illuminate brightly?

No

- Repair or replace the Track harness as necessary. If you have to order a new harness, be sure to specify if it is for the Driver or Passenger side of the vehicle. The Driver side has a jumper wire in the PSD Module connector for Driver Side Identification.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

Yes

- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
