B1A6B STEERING COLUMN LOCK MODULE NOT INITIALIZED

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
The Wireless Ignition Node detects that the Steering Column Lock Module has not initialized.





REPLACE THE STEERING COLUMN LOCK MODULE IF DTC IS ACTIVE
1. With the scan tool, read the active DTC's.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace the Steering Column Lock Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test.

No

- If the DTC is stored, check for an intermittent condition. Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
