B1E63-3RD ROW SEAT LATCHED POSITION STOP NOT LEARNED

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
If the Folding Seat Module has not yet learned it's hard stop positions, a DTC is logged.





1. CHECK FOR RELATED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display any seat position sensor or circuit performance DTC's?

Yes

- Diagnose and repair the other DTC(s) first. Testing and Inspection.

No

- Go To 2

2. ATTEMPT TO INITIALIZE THE 3RD ROW FOLDING SEAT MODULE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the power folding seat switch, move the 3rd row seat to it's different folded positions.
3. With the scan tool, erase all DTC's.
4. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display: B1E63-3RD ROW SEAT LATCHED POSITION STOP NOT LEARNED as active?

Yes

- Replace the Folding Seat Module.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test.

No

- Test complete.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test.
