Power Sliding Door Module Right (PSDMR)
B2273-POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE IDENTIFICATION CIRCUIT

NOTE: This code can set if a module from another vehicle was installed that had originally been from the opposite side (Left/Right side). This test is for a Left side module. The Right side harness does not have the Jumper between cavities 1 and 4.
- When Monitored:
Whenever the Power Sliding Door Module is awake.
- Set Condition:
When the scan tool cannot identify the Left Power Sliding Door Module from the Right Power Sliding Door Module, this code will set.
1. CHECK FOR DTCS
1. With the scan tool, record DTC's and any power sliding door inhibitors.
2. Erase the DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
4. Attempt to operate the Left Power Sliding Door.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
NOTE: If the scan tool displays the B198E, B198F, B1991 or B1992 DTC, repair any of those DTC's before proceeding.
Does the scan tool display this DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors for an intermittent condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
2. CHECK THE LEFT POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE CONNECTOR AND HARNESS
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 way connector.
4. Check the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 way connector and harness for proper terminal contact, corrosion, or pinched or broken wires.
Is the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 Way Connector and Harness OK?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Repair the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 way connector or harness as necessary.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
3. CHECK THE (D85) LEFT POWER SLIDING DOOR SELECT JUMPER CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
1. Measure the resistance of the (D85) Left Power Sliding Door Select Jumper circuit in the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 way connector harness connector.
NOTE: This jumper is to identify that the module is on the left side of the vehicle.
Is the resistance below 5 Ohms?
Yes
- Replace the Left Power Sliding Door Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
No
- Replace the Left Power Sliding Door jumper harness.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
