Power Liftgate Latch - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. If a new power liftgate latch assembly is being installed, transfer the power locking latch cable from the original latch to the new latch assembly.
2. Position the power liftgate latch (2) into the liftgate and install the retaining screws (3). Tighten the screws to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the latch electrical connector (1).





4. Install the power locking latch cable (1) to the exterior liftgate handle (2) and connect the cable to the handle.
5. Install the liftgate trim panel Liftgate Trim Panel - Installation.
6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
7. Verify liftgate alignment Liftgate - Installation.
