INSTALLATION

NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.





1. Position the seat tracks to the bottom of the seat cushion frame (2) and install the six retaining bolts (3, 4 ,8 and 10). Tighten the bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the seat cushion support (1) onto the seat cushion frame. Engage seat cushion support to the six retaining tabs (9) by using a small punch or similar tool as a lever. Place the punch or tool through the six holes in the support and into the corresponding holes in the seat cushion frame, then stretch the support over the retaining tabs.





3. If equipped with heated seats, connect the seat cushion wire harness connector to the heated seat wire harness.
4. Install the seat cushion and cover onto the seat cushion frame (7).
5. Engage the J-hook retainer (3) that secures the seat cushion cover to the front of the seat cushion frame.
6. Engage the four J-hook retainers (2 and 4) that secure the seat cushion cover to the sides of the seat cushion frame.
7. Engage the J-hook retainer (8) that secures the seat cushion cover to the rear of the seat cushion frame.
8. Install the eight spacers (6) onto the mounting studs of the seat tracks (1 and 5).

9. Position the seat tracks (2) and eight spacers (1) onto the pivot mechanism (3).
10. Install the four nuts (4) that secure each seat track to the pivot mechanism. Tighten the nuts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).





11. If equipped with heated seats, engage the wire harness retainers (5) and install the two screws (2) that secure the electrical contact (4) to the outboard seat riser (3). Tighten the screws securely.
12. Install the seat back Seat Back - Installation.
13. Install the seat cushion side shields Seat Cushion Side Shields - Installation.
14. Install the seat side shields Seat Riser Latch Link - Installation.
15. Install the seat into the vehicle.
