INSTALLATION

36. Install the oil filter/oil cooler splash shield and the left front wheelhouse splash shield Splash Shield - Installation
37. Install the front tire and wheel assemblies Tires and Wheels - Installation










38. Reconnect the shift cable to the bracket.
39. Reconnect the shift cable (1) to the transaxle manual valve lever (2).










40. Reconnect oil cooler lines (1) to the transaxle Procedures





41. Reconnect the heater hoses (1) and (2).










42. Install the front heater line bracket retainer (1).










43. Install the heater hose and power steering hose bracket retainers (2) to the transaxle bellhousing and the left engine mount.










44. Install the three rear transaxle mount bracket bolts (1). Tighten to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).










45. Reconnect the output speed sensor harness connectors (1) and (2).










46. Reconnect the harness retainer (1) to the transaxle shifter bracket.










47. Reconnect the transaxle solenoid pack harness connector (1).










48. Reconnect the input shaft speed sensor harness connector (1), the crankshaft position sensor harness connector (2), the downstream O2 sensor harness connector (3), and the upstream O2 sensor harness connector (4) from the rear maniverter.





49. Install the upper radiator hose (1).





50. Reconnect the EVAP purge line (1) and the brake booster vacuum hose to the upper intake manifold.










51. Reconnect the fuel supply line (1) at the fuel rail (2) Service and Repair










52. Install the lower radiator hose (2) to engine.





53. Reinstall the power steering pump (2) and secure with three power steering pump mounting bolts (3) through pulley (not shown in figure). Tighten pump mounting bolts to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).










54. Reinstall the harness retainer (1) to the power steering pump.










55. Reconnect the EVAP purge solenoid harness connector (1) and the A/C pressure transducer harness connector (2).










56. Install the power steering line bracket retainers (1) and (2).





57. Reinstall the generator (1) Generator - Installation










58. Reinstall the accessory drive belt (1) Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation










59. Reinstall the cooling fan assembly.
60. Reconnect the cooling fan harness connectors (1) and (2).





61. Reinstall the air filter housing (6) Air Cleaner Body - Installation










62. Reinstall the coolant overflow bottle (2), and reconnect the coolant overflow Line (1) at the radiator fill cap.
63. Refill the cooling system Service and Repair










64. Reconnect the harness retainer (2), install the three battery tray fasteners, and install the battery tray (1).










65. Reconnect the positive (1) and negative (3) battery cables. Tighten the cable clamp nuts to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.) Battery - Installation
66. Start the engine and inspect for leaks. Verify engine is operating normally.










67. Install the engine cover.

NOTE: The Cam/Crank Variation Relearn procedure must be performed anytime there has been a repair/replacement made to a powertrain system, for example: flywheel, valvetrain, camshaft and/or crankshaft sensors or components PCM/ECM Reprogramming
