B2207-OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER INTERNAL 1

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on. The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) on board diagnostics continuously performs internal circuit tests.

- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the ORC identifies an out of range internal circuit.





NOTE: An internal fault setting DTC should lead to the replacement of the ORC. Also check the scan tool for any other squib circuit related DTCS and diagnose per the code setting.
CHECK FOR SQUIB RELATED DTCS
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) DTCs.

Is there any squib related DTCs present?

Yes

- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Testing and Inspection.

No

- WARNING: Turn the ignition off, disconnect the 12-volt battery and wait two minutes before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

- WARNING: If the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) is dropped at any time, it must be replaced. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

- Replace the ORC.
- Perform the AIRBAG SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Airbag System Verification Test.
