Lumbar Support - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Service Precautions.
2. Install the lumbar assembly (1), the springs (4) and the actuator cable assembly (3) into the seat back.
3. Route the cable (3) up and around the inside of the seat back frame (2).





4. Install the actuator (1) into the back frame (2).





5. Pull the actuator tabs (1) through the slots in the seat back frame (2) and twist to lock into place.





6. Pull the support springs (2) out through the holes in the seat back frame and install the clips (1) onto the springs (2).





7. Seat the support spring clips (2) into the seat back frame (1) fully.





8. Seat the cable support clips (2) fully.





9. Install the inner bezel (3) over the actuator (2) and twist to install. Make sure the holes (1) line up.





10. Position the seat back cover back down over the seat back frame and cushion.
11. Connect the J-straps (1 AND 2).





12. Press the headrest sleeve release buttons and install the headrest.





13. Align the bezel (3) to the seat back and install the screws (2).





14. Snap the manual lumbar knob onto the shaft of the drive mechanism into the bezel surround.
