Installation

2500 AND 3500 - 4WD





1. Position the brake shield (1) on bolts.
2. Install the hub/bearing to the knuckle. Tighten the hub/bearing bolts (2) to 202 Nm (149 ft. lbs.
3. Install the hub nut and tighten to 356 Nm (263 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the wheel speed sensor to the hub. Wheel Speed Sensor - Installation.
5. Install the disc brake rotor. Brake Rotor - Installation.
6. Install the brake caliper adapter with the caliper, Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Installation.
7. Install the hub extension and nuts to the front rotor. Tighten nuts to 130 Nm (96 ft.lbs). HD DRW ONLY.
8. Install the wheel and tire assemblies, Removal and Replacement.
9. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
10. Apply the brakes several times to seat the brake shoes and caliper piston. Do not move the vehicle until a firm brake pedal is obtained.
