Out-of-Round (MAX.) 0.050 mm (0.002 in.)
Taper (MAX.) 0.013 mm (0.0005 in.)
End Play Range 0.120-0.432 mm (0.004-0.017 in.)

Caution: The 6.7L engine has different torque procedure for new and previously installed main bearing capscrews. Failure to use the correct torque procedure can result in engine damage.

Crankshaft Main Cap - Bolts (Previously Used)
Step 1 60 Nm (44 ft.lbs.)
Step 2 80 Nm (59 ft.lbs.)
Step 3 Rotate 90 degrees

Crankshaft Main Cap - Bolts (New Main Bearing Capscrews)
Step 1 120 Nm (89 ft.lbs.)
Step 2 Loosen completely
Step 3 60 Nm (44 ft.lbs.)
Step 3 85 Nm (63 ft.lbs.)
Step 3 Rotate 120 degrees
