1. Remove the hood ajar switch (2) from the mounting bracket (3). Vehicle Theft Security Hood Ajar Switch - Removal.
2. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the hood ajar switch bracket to the two rivet nuts (1) in the right front load beam (6).
3. Remove the hood ajar switch mounting bracket from the inboard side of the right front load beam.
