Upper Control Arm - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter with the caliper Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Removal.
4. Remove the rotor.
5. Remove the nut from upper ball joint (4).
6. Separate upper ball joint (4) from the steering knuckle (6) with Remover 9360 (5).CAUTION: When installing Remover 9360 (5) to separate the ball joint, be careful not to damage the ball joint seal.





7. Remove the control arm pivot bolts (3) and flag nuts (2) remove control arm (1).
