Crankshaft Position Sensor - Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located at the right-rear side of the engine cylinder block.










1. Raise vehicle.
2. Disconnect electrical connector (2) from CKP sensor (4).
3. Remove mounting bolt (3).
4. Carefully remove CKP sensor from cylinder block (1) using a twisting motion.
5. Check condition of CKP sensor O-ring and replace as required.
