Event 2801

EVENT 2801-FAULT PRESENT IN TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE

For a complete wiring diagram, Refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
Ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

- Set Condition:
An active DTC is stored in the Transmission Control Module. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Testing and Inspection.
DTC PRESENT IN TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
1. This is an informational DTC letting you know that a DTC(s) is stored in the Transmission Control Module or a CAN Bus Failure occurred.
2. Using a scan tool, read the Transmission Control Module DTCs and perform the appropriate Diagnostic Procedure.
