Air Cleaner Body - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the air cleaner assembly and push down on the front tabs (1) to lock in place.





2. Install the positive battery terminal lead (1) to the air cleaner housing.





3. Connect the air cleaner inlet tube (5).
4. Loosen Connect the air cleaner outlet tube to the air cleaner housing (4) and tighten the clamp (1).
5. Connect the air intake air pressure sensor (3) harness connectors.
6. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) (2) harness connectors.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.

NOTE: The air cleaner assembly should already be removed.






NOTE: Incorrect installation or miss alignment of the air tube or the CCV can result in leaks.

1. Install air Inlet tube (3) onto turbocharger inlet and ensure that orange seal is not rolled and is proper positioned.
2. Securely tighten the clamp (2) on the turbocharger inlet.
3. Connect the CCV heater harness connector (1).






NOTE: During installation of the CCV, DO NOT disconnect CCV hose at the Air Tube.

4. Install the CCV (2) onto the cylinder head cover (3). Tighten bolts (1) to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).





5. Install the insulating cover (3) unto the cylinder head cover.
6. Install the engine cover (1) and tighten retaining bolts (2).





7. Install the oil fill tube (1). Tighten bolt (2) to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
