Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) Cabin Heater - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install the positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater unit (1) into the air distribution housing (2) and install the two screws (3 and 9). Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
2. Connect the control circuit connector (5), positive lead (6) and ground lead (7) to the PTC heater unit and install the nuts (4 and 8). Tighten the nuts securely.
3. Install the gear selector cover, Instrument Panel Bezel - Installation.
4. Install the center footwell cover Instrument Panel Center Footwell Trim Panel - Installation.
5. Install the center bezel Instrument Panel Bezel - Installation.
6. Install the steering column opening cover Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation.
7. Install the glove box Instrument Panel Glove Box - Installation.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
