Recliner Handle - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Measure approximately 75mm from the front of the recliner handle (1).
2. Mark the measurement with a china marker on the bottom side of the handle.
3. Store the seat(s) in the stowed position inside the seat tub.






NOTE: For ease in installation, store the seat(s) in the stowed position inside the seat tub.

NOTE: Seat shown in stowed position.

NOTE: For ease in installation, it may be necessary to to pull the recliner lever assy outboard slightly. Take caution when doing so to avoid any damage to the handle or recliner lever.

CAUTION: Lift the retaining tab slightly to disengage. The retaining tab could break if over extended.

4. Using a hooked pick tool or equivalent, disengage the retaining tab (1) by slightly lifting it while simultaneously sliding the handle towards the front of vehicle.
5. Remove the recliner handle.
