B19B2-RIGHT POWER SLIDING DOOR CONTROL CIRCUIT 2 OPEN
- When Monitored:
Anytime the Right Power Sliding Door is in a power open or close operation.
- Set Condition:
This code will set when the Right Power Sliding Door has been given a command to operate but the door is not moving and the module senses no current on the Right Power Sliding Door Motor Close Driver circuit for more than 100ms.
Possible Causes:
1. CHECK FOR DTCs
1. With the scan tool, record the DTCs and any power sliding door inhibitors.
2. Erase the DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
4. Attempt to operate the Right Power Sliding Door.
5. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and poor pin fit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
2. CHECK THE SLIDING DOOR OPEN DRIVER CIRCUIT
NOTE: At this time it will be necessary to remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle.
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle in accordance with the Service Information.
3. Remove the Power Sliding Door Module from the track assembly.
4. Ensure the PSD Module C1 harness connector is connected to the module.
5. Turn the ignition on.
6. Measure the voltage between the Door Motor Clutch Return circuit and the Sliding Door Open Driver circuit in the PSD Module C2 (component side) connection.
Is the voltage between 4.0 and 8.0 volts on the Driver circuit?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle procedure. Programming and Relearning
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
3. CHECK THE SLIDING DOOR CLOSE DRIVER CIRCUIT
1. Measure the voltage between the Door Motor Clutch Return circuit and the Sliding Door Close Driver circuit in the PSD Module C2 (component side) connection.
Is the voltage between 4.0 and 8.0 volts on the Driver circuit?
Yes
- Go To 4
No
- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle procedure. Programming and Relearning
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
4. CHECK THE SLIDING DOOR OPEN AND CLOSE CIRCUITS
1. Connect a 12-volt test light between the Sliding Door Open Driver circuit and the Sliding Door Close Driver circuit in the PSD Module C2 (component side) connection.
2. With the scan tool, actuate the Drive Motor Control to Open then Close while observing the test light.
Does the test light illuminate brightly each time the motor is actuated in both directions?
Yes
- Replace the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle procedure. Programming and Relearning
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
No
- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle procedure. Programming and Relearning
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
