B1E4D-3RD ROW SEAT LEFT STOW/TAILGATE POSITION SENSOR PERFORMANCE



- When Monitored:
During all power 3rd row seat activations.

- Set Condition:
If the FSM detects that the Left Stow Motor Hall Sensor count value is outside of the acceptable range of values, this DTC will set.





1. CHECK FOR DTCs
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read FSM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Clear the stored DTC.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test.

2. INSPECT SEAT MECHANICAL OPERATION
1. Gain access to and inspect the following components that could allow the stow motor hall sensor values be out of range:
- Ensure seat legs unfold and latch into proper position.
- Seat stow motor damaged or worn.
- Broken seat welds or frame.

Were any problems found?

No

- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test.

Yes

- Repair or replace component as necessary.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test.
