REMOVAL
36. Remove the lower radiator hose (1) from the radiator.
37. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the oil pressure sensor.
38. Disconnect the engine oil cooler line (7) from the engine oil cooler (3).
39. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C compressor clutch coil. Remove one bolt (2), two nuts (3), two studs and reposition the A/C compressor.
40. Remove the oil dipstick tube bolt (1), and remove the oil dipstick tube.
41. Remove the front maniverter Exhaust Manifold - Removal
42. Remove battery cable nut (3) and battery cable (2) from the starter solenoid stud (1). Disconnect electrical connector (4) from the starter solenoid.
43. Remove the front engine mount through bolt (1).
44. Remove the four rear crossmember bolts (1), the front crossmember bolt (2), and remove the crossmember (3).
45. Remove the crossunder pipe Exhaust Manifold - Removal.
46. Remove the crossunder pipe bracket (4) from the bottom of the transaxle bellhousing (1).
47. Remove the bolt (3) and the torque converter access cover (2).
48. Remove the torque converter-to-driveplate bolts (1). Upon removing bolts, some driveplates have a tight-tolerance (slotted) bolt hole. If present, mark this location (driveplate and converter) with paint for re-alignment during installation.
49. Remove the lower transaxle bellhousing bolts (2).
50. Remove three bolts (1) and the front engine mount bracket (2).
51. Remove the front exhaust pipe (2) Removal
52. Remove the rear maniverter (2). Exhaust Manifold - Removal.
53. Remove the Fasteners (1), and remove the rear engine mount heat shield (2).
54. Remove rear transaxle mount bracket bolt (3).
55. Remove the right and left axle halfshafts Half Shaft - Removal
56. Position Power Train Dolly 6135 and Engine Support Cradle 6710A under the engine.
57. Align the front right engine cradle post (2) with the lift point hole in the engine block.
58. Align the front left engine cradle post and Engine Support Bracket 8130 (1) with the lift point hole in the engine block.
59. Install Power Train Dolly Adapter 10107-1 (2) to the engine block, and align the left rear engine cradle post with the hole in the adapter.
60. Install Power Train Dolly Adapter 10107-2 (1) to the engine block, and align the right rear engine cradle post with the hole in the support bracket.
61. Install safety straps so that they securely hold the powertrain assembly in the engine cradle. Tighten the fasteners at the base of each engine cradle post, and verify that the engine cradle posts are fully engaged in the lifting points.
62. Remove the right engine mount-to-engine fasteners (1).
63. Remove the left engine mount-to-engine fasteners (1).
64. Raise the vehicle body off of the powertrain.
65. Support the transaxle with a suitable lifting device.
66. Remove the remaining transaxle bellhousing bolts, and separate transaxle from engine assembly.
