Liftgate - Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.





1. Position the liftgate onto the vehicle using the reference marks made during the Removal procedure and install the body fasteners (1).
2. Tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the wire harness and washer hose.
4. Install the support struts. Gas Prop - Installation.
5. Install the upper rear headliner trim.
6. Close the liftgate and verify proper operation. Adjustments.
