Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures






NO FUSE MESSAGE DISPLAYED IN CLUSTER WITH NO DTC SET

- When Monitored:
With the Ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Cluster is not receiving the FUSED (B+) (I.O.D.) feed from the I.O.D. Fuse. The Cluster will display "noFUSE" in the EVIC.





1. CHECK I.O.D. FUSE
- Verify that the I.O.D. fuse is installed and not open.

Is the I.O.D. fuse present and not open?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Install I.O.D. Fuse if not installed. If the fuse is open, use the wiring diagrams as a guide and check for a short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

2. CHECK FOR FUSED (B+) (I.O.D.) AT THE CLUSTER HARNESS CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition off.
- Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, disconnect the appropriate Cluster harness connector with the FUSED (B+) (I.O.D.) circuit.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using a test light connected to ground, measure the voltage of the FUSED (B+) (I.O.D.) circuit in the Cluster harness connector.

Did the test light illuminate brightly?

Yes

- Replace the Cluster.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

No

- Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all applicable wiring harnesses, connectors, and fuses associated with the I.O.D. Fuse for open circuits and spread terminals.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.
