Light Emitting Diode Unit






LAMP - LIGHT EMITTING DIODE

EXCEPT WITH OVERHEAD CONSOLE





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Insert the tip of a small flat bladed screwdriver into the notch (1) between the dome/reading lamp bezel and the lock tab between the two Light Emitting Diode (LED) pod units.
3. Gently pry the lock tab downward until it unsnaps from the lamp bezel.
4. Swing the lock tab downward until it is perpendicular to the lamp bezel.
5. Pull the lamp away from the headliner mounting hole far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector from the back of the lamp.
6. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.

WITH OVERHEAD CONSOLE





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, gently pry the edge of the lamp housing away from the overhead console far enough to disengage the four (two at the front and two at the rear) integral latch features.
3. Pull the lamp away from the overhead console mounting hole far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the back of the lamp.
4. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.
