Liftgate Lamp

1. Position the liftgate courtesy lamp to the opening in the lower liftgate trim panel.
2. Reconnect the liftgate wire harness connector (1) to the connector receptacle integral to the end of the lamp housing.
3. Insert the connector end of the lamp housing into the opening in the lower liftgate trim panel.
4. Align the end of the lamp housing opposite the connector end to the trim panel opening.
5. Using hand pressure, push the lamp housing firmly and evenly into the trim panel opening until the integral mounting tabs snap into place behind the panel.





6. Align the lamp lens (1) with the lamp housing, then use firm and even hand pressure to snap the lens onto the housing.
7. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
