Power Seat Track - Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: The front seat track, adjuster and seat cushion frame are serviced together as an assembly.

NOTE: Front driver seat shown. Front passenger seat similar.





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front seat being serviced Front Seat - Removal.
3. Remove seat cushion side shields (9, 27, 29 and 30) Seat Cushion Side Shields - Removal.
4. Remove the seat back frame (15) from the seat cushion frame (10) Seat Back - Removal.
5. Remove the front seat cushion (7) and cover (36) from the seat cushion frame Seat Cushion Cover - Removal.
6. Remove the nuts (35) that secure the seat risers (14 and 34) to the seat cushion frame and remove the risers.
7. If required on passenger seats equipped with Occupant Classification System (OCS), remove the seat weight sensors Seat Weight Sensor - Removal.
8. Remove any components that need to be transferred to the new front seat track, adjuster and seat cushion frame assembly.
