CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING






NOTE: Lubricate the bedplate retaining bolts with clean engine oil prior to installation.

NOTE: Install the studs in locations three, five, and six.

Install the bedplate retaining bolts.
Tighten bolts 3 Nm (26 in. lbs.) in the sequence shown.





Tighten bolts 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.





Rotate bolts 90° in the sequence shown.





Tighten bolts 23 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.

Bearing Clearance 0.004 - 0.034 mm (0.0002 - 0.0013 in.)
