B2202-EEPROM CHECKSUM PERFORMANCE



- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) detects any EEPROM block failure.





CHECK FOR ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
1. Using the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from off to on at least 5 times, leaving the ignition on for a minimum of 90 seconds per cycle.
3. Using the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace the Totally Integrated Power Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Clear stored codes and check to see if the code resets. If not repair complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
