P0853-OVERDRIVE / TOW SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT STUCK



- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Cluster detects the Overdrive / Tow Switch function inoperative.





CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Actuate the Overdrive / Tow Switch.
3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as Active?

Yes

- Replace the Upper Switch Bank.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete.
