Cowl Extension Silencer - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the center cowl extension (1) in the vehicle.
2. Install the four bolts (4) that secure the cowl extension to the vehicle body. Tighten bolts to 6 Nm (55 in. lbs.).





3. Position the inboard pivot bolt bracket (1) and loosely install the two bolts (2), that secure the bracket to the vehicle.
4. Install the two bolts (5) to secure the cowl extension (4) to the bracket. Tighten all four bolts to 6 Nm (55 in. lbs.).





5. Position the side extension panels (2 & 5) in the vehicle and secure to the line carrier brackets.
6. Install the two nuts, securing the side extensions to the center extension. Tighten nuts to 6 Nm (55 in. lbs.).
7. Install the wiper linkage module in the vehicle, Wiper Arm Linkage - Installation.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
