D Pillar Switch - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the edges of the rear power liftgate switch (2) bezel (3) away from the left quarter trim panel (1) far enough to disengage the two integral latch features of the bezel from the quarter trim panel bezel opening.
3. Pull the switch and bezel unit away from the quarter trim panel far enough to access and disconnect the body wire harness connector from the connector receptacle on the bottom of the switch.





4. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the sides of the switch receptacle on the back of the bezel (1) away from the switch (2) far enough to release the two snap features (3) on each side of the switch housing.
5. Remove the rear power liftgate switch from the receptacle on the back of the switch bezel.
