Rear Suspension Stabilizer Bar - Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: When the stabilizer bar or links are serviced it is recommended that a drive on hoist is used or the out board ends of the control arms are supported and raised to normal ride height. If the suspension is hanging, there will be tension on the stabilizer bar.
1. Remove the parking brake cable (1) from the retaining bracket (2) for access to the stabilizer to cradle bolts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance
3. Remove both stabilizer link to stabilizer nuts (1) and position the links aside.
4. Remove both upper (2) and lower (4) stabilizer to cradle bolts (4).
5. Remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
