Cylinder Head Assembly

CYLINDER HEAD






Tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
Tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
Again, tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
Again, tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
Again, rotate the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 90°.
Again, tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).






SURFACE VARIATION

If tolerances exceed 0.0508 mm (0.002 in.) replace the cylinder head.
