Liftgate - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.

1. Position the liftgate onto the vehicle.
2. Install the four hinge to liftgate bolts (1) and tighten the to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Install two hinge to header nuts (3) and tighten to 63 Nm (46 in. lbs.).





4. Install the support struts (2).
5. Connect wiring harnesses and washer hose.
6. Check and adjust the liftgate if necessary. Adjustments





7. Position the upper rear headliner trim (3) and seat fully.
