Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

U0100-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE ECM/PCM

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
Ignition run time is greater than one second.

Battery voltage is between 9 and 16 volts.

Engine run time is greater than three seconds.

- Set Condition:
Bus messages are not received from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) for approximately two to five seconds.





ACTIVE DTC
1. Ignition ON, Engine Not Running.
2. With the scan tool, select view DTCs.

Is the DTC Active?

Yes

- Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) and perform the U0100-Lost Communication with ECM/PCM diagnostic procedure.

No

- Stored Lost Communication DTCs and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
