DESCRIPTION

NOTE: Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) shown. Manual Temperature Control (MTC) similar.

There are four heating and A/C systems available for this vehicle;

- Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) system
- Tri Zone ATC system
- Dual Zone Manual Temperature Control (MTC) system
- Tri Zone MTC system

The Dual Zone systems allow both the driver and the front seat passenger the ability to individually regulate air temperature for their side of the vehicle. The Tri Zone systems allow the driver, front seat passenger and the intermediate seat passengers, the ability to individually regulate the air temperature for their portion of the vehicle. Both ATC systems can automatically adjust the air temperature, airflow volume, airflow distribution and amount of inside air recirculation to maintain occupant comfort, even under changing outside weather conditions. All controls are identified by International Standards Organization (ISO) graphic symbols.

The heating and A/C systems provide the vehicle occupants with a number of options to help control climate and comfort within the vehicle. The ATC heating and A/C systems offer several manual override features such as fan speed, airflow distribution, defrost and recirculation modes. See the Owner's Manual for more information on settings and features of the four individual heating and A/C system available on this vehicle.

The controls for the front heating and A/C system are located in the U-Connect Touch (TM) screen module (1) under the Climate tab (2), and on the switchbank (3) at the center of the instrument panel.

When equipped with the Tri Zone heating and A/C system, the primary controls for the rear heating and A/C system are in the U-Connect Touch (TM) screen module (under the Rear Climate tab). A second set of controls (2, 3 and 4) are located in the rear overhead console (1).

The rear controls allow intermediate seat passengers the ability to adjust rear air distribution, temperature and blower motor speed, when the rear controls are NOT locked out by the driver and front seat passenger.
