Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM)






U0212-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SCM (SAS)





For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:

- With the ignition on
- Battery voltage between 10 and 16 volts
- Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse installed
- Set Condition:
If the Drive Train Control Module (DTCM) fails to receive bus messages from the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) for approximately 500 ms.





VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
3. Cycle the ignition switch.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes

- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS). Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).

No

- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. ABS Intermittent Condition Test.
