P0604-INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE RAM ERROR

- When Monitored:
While the key is on.

- Set Condition:
Internal Powertrain Control Module software error.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting Procedure.

1. REFLASH PCM
1. Using the scan tool, reflash the module with latest calibration.

Was the flash successful?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Replace the Powertrain Control Module.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST -6.7L. Powertrain Verification Test.

2. POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE
1. Run the engine for one minute and shut off.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Did P0604 set?

Yes

- Replace the Powertrain Control Module.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - 6.7L. Powertrain Verification Test.

No

- Test Complete.
